Fantastic Mr Fox

From the pen of acclaimed children's author Roald Dahl, we have the Fantastic Mr Fox. First published in 1970, it is the tale of a 'fox' wanting back the life he had before the responsibility of marriage and 'cubs'. Experiencing something of a mid-life crisis, Mr Fox wants to move from their 'hole in the ground' dwelling for something more upmarket. He is bored of his job with the local newspaper - where's the excitement and adventure, plus the necessity of having to provide for his young family has become rather tiresome.

The family move to a leafier abode with a view that reaches afar. Mr Fox spots something to whet his appetite, a yearning for his past … live poultry. Will Mrs Fox continue to refer to her husband as 'Fantastic Mr Fox'?

Now Mr Fox returns to his thieving ways, angering the 3 farmers (Bean, Boggis and Bunce). The war is on. Mr Fox has not only endangered his life, but that of his family and those that also dwell alongside him in the wood. What will happen next?
